I purchased this not because I had an immediate need but because I just like to have it on hand should the need arise. It saves me time from having to run to the auto store for them to check it and NOT clear the code for me.
I did try it out and it appears to work as it said I currently have no codes, which is true.
I will keep it in my truck for later use.
