We bought a great lightbar for our truck, but it didn't come with the necessary wiring. Ordered this kit, particularly, because it not only includes all wiring, inline fuse, switch, etc ... but it also allows you to control your lights with a keyfob remote. Remote control is very handy .. you can blink your lights to find your vehicle in a parking lot, turn lights on and off to illuminate the area, etc. You can also control your lights as normal from a switch inside your vehicle.
The harness is rated at 40 amps (plenty for just about any auxilliary lighting) and you can change the fuse to more closely match the lights it is actually connected to. It is well made and includes everything you need for a successful install. No instructions were included. However, it is not a beginner's kit and expects the installer to have previous experience with wiring.
