We purchased this item not for the USB adapter, but rather for the fused weatherproof wiring harness. We needed it to allow our trickle charger to the battery while our Harley Davidson is stored for a few weeks without removing the saddle each time. It contains everything we need to complete our wiring: the harness, inline fuse holder, a matched pair of weatherproof SAE connectors and black wire ties. The USB adapter will also come in handy. When my son gets home with his motorcycle (he's on the road for a few weeks), we will get it all wired up and are sure it will work perfectly!
