Very handy but...

Comfortable to your grip with a rubber handle grip and secure wrist adjustable strap. The size and weight are suitable for just light self-defense or protection. The lighter construction probably is designed to easily move the stick with your arms in case of a strike or self-defense. The main reason I gave it 4 stars is because deploying the stick is easy by striking it in the air to automatically extend the two-level telescopic body. But retracting it is a pain. It needs to be pointed against the ground with your weight by holding the handle. The main body is made up of plastic with a kind of metal weight inside. I bought this to protect myself from vicious dogs while I walk outside at night. The nylon pouch that came with it has a belt insert to carry around your waist.
