This is a solar light designed to mount to the top of your outdoor flagpole. It charges the built-in battery during the day, turning on at night and providing 640 lumens (about tthe same as a 45 watt light bulb) by using 128 discrete LEDs. It has 66 solar cells built into the top of the unit, providing the charging power for the battery. It is designed for ourdoor all-weather use. If it gets weak, the LiIon 18650 battery is user-replaceable. It has 2 modes, 640 LLumen and 320 Lumen. The lower output mode provides 8-10 hours of illumination (depending on ability of sun to recharge battery during daytime). It can also be used for other outdoor top-illuminating jobs (illuminating patio, garden, tent, camping, etc). Very happy with product. Will mount it to our flagpole when weather permits.
