I purchased these as a economical addition to my camping kit. I'm impressed with the strength, these are now going on my hammocks. I did not have alot of faith in the strengh untill I got them. I put one thru a torture test I lifted everything I could find in the gage and deforming. The only damage I could inflect was with a 2lb mallet. Holding a hammock or a pack off the ground should be no problem.
