Anyone who gives this a bad review is purchasing it with unreasonable expectations.
This fan, while it does throw some good air (it truly surprised me).
It's real purpose is just to be fun and a cool item to show off to your friends.
The ONLY issue I had was you do NEED to install the software from the CD that comes with it. There is no "Download" option
I do not have a cd drive on my computer. That being said I had to buy an external cd drive making this little fan not such a great deal for me.
Ended up costing more than I would have liked to get it up and running. That will not deduct from my rating because I always had the option of just returning it.
I chose to buy the cd drive so I could use and keep the fan.
Well worth it, lots of fun and yes, it keeps me cool while sitting at my desk.
