 I'm a big crafter and I have so many markers, pens, paint pens. My desk was such a mess, I had pens, markers, etc. in cups to keep them seperated and it drove me crazy! It took me forever to find the color I needed so when I seen this I wanted to give it a try and it worked great! I was able to organize by color and able to keep it on my desk so I have easy access to them when I need them.
