This torch takes 4x AA batteries, not supplied. It is incredibly bright. INCREDIBLY. Don't look into it! You can zoom it, so have wide angle if required or zoom in and light up objects a couple of hundred metres away. It is quite light but feels very good quality, metal body. There are interior rubbers to make it waterproof although I have not tested that aspect.
