This is a very basic case for a Kindle Fire Tablet 8, 2017 version. I got it at a discount so I could give my feedback and I do like it. The part that holds the tablet is molded so that it fits it exactly. The tablet snaps right in to it. I like that. The magnetic lid is jointed so you can fold it up and use it as an easel. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because it's hard to hold on to. I wish it had something to make it easier to grasp. Like a strap or something. I know I can get a pop socket or one of those stick on straps, but it would be nice if there was something built in to the case itself. My Dad has a case for his ipad that has a strap handle on back that swivels, but I do know he paid a lot more for it. Overall this is a nice case and does protect my Fire Tablet well, for the price.
