Nicely padded

Last time my husband and I went out for a bike ride, I told him I needed a new pair of bike gloves. The pair I have been using are getting really thin and worn down on the palms. They are fingerless gloves and winter is coming soon, so I will need something with full fingers in a few weeks, but wanted another good pair of half finger gloves to use in the meantime. This is the pair I ordered online and am hoping to get the chance to test soon since the weather is changing and it won't be as hot for baby to be in the trailer (she doesn't handle heat that well).

They are well made and nicely padded. The gel padding in them is much nicer than the padding I had in my previous pair of gloves and is a little thicker, which is great for me since I wanted more padding. And they fit my hands great. I got size largeand they fit me perfectly. I love the fact that it has the velcro at the wrist so that I can easily put them on and pull them off without having to ask for help. But the velcro straps around the wrists are VERY thick and strong, so if I don't line it up perfectly I get scratched by the velcro. And if I am not careful, I put them on too tight. They feel fine when I strap them on, but then it is way too tight when I go to grip my handlebars and bend my wrists, making me have to stop and adjust. But it is definintely strong and  supportive and they won't come loose while riding! They have non-slip silicone on some of the fingers to help you with a better grip on the bike handelbars while riding, ventilation holes on the tops to allow your hands to breathe, and are scratch resistent.

They are darker gloves than I am used to wearing, but I don't mind using black and blue. I don't like gaudy looking gloves or cycling gear, so this works for me. I just usually go lighter, tending to pick greys, whites, and lighter colors. Of course, those lighter colors do tend to look dirty fast, so with the black I will be able to avoid them looking filthy.

So far I am liking them. We shall see how the next few weeks go before I switch over to full finger gloves. I'll be breaking them in!
