We love these.  There are two in the box and the lights are very bright.  But the best part is that they have  a red light, dim white, bright white and HELLO blinding light.  This is perfect if you are in the dark walking.  But for me the best part is that it does not use batteries but instead uses a usb charger.  This is a good purchase and I am very glad we got these!
