We travel a lot and the cat stay home alone when we are just gone a couple of days. This system has been a great help at keeping her water clean and fresh. As long as it is not low on water it runs pretty quite but when the water is low it does get a little loud. Our car loves it as well as our dog. It is well made and looks very nice. It hold close to 84 oz of water at a time..
