TOY FISHING ROD WITH 3 FISHIES

~ What ~
Made of pliable silicone and plastic with a 6-inch cord, this bath set includes a child’s fishing rod with rope and triple hook with 3 colorful polka dotted fish. While the fishing rod measures 7.68 inches long, the blue, green, and red rubbery fish have loops on their backs for hooking and measure 2.36 by 2.17 by 2.56 inches. All items arrive in a sealed plastic clamshell, ready for giving.

~ Why ~
Our grandson and granddaughters are coming to visit from out of state soon, and I always like to provide fun toys at bath time for the two toddlers. I like that the fish are colorful and can be squeezed or put under water. The fishing rod is cute with a wide handle for tiny hands to hold. I appreciate the cord is not too long that could wrap around a child’s arm or leg.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not realize how small these parts are, but they are large enough that one cannot choke on them. Others may find it too hard to hook the fishing hook into the fishes’ loops, but it was not that difficult. Some may think the product is made of cheap plastic, but I found it more durable than other bath toys I have purchased at this price level.

~ Wish ~
I had to puncture holes in the bottom of the fish (they are not completely cut through) so that water could get inside of each and be able to squirt. I wish the hole suggestion as well as tips to play a fishing game were on the back of the clamshell packaging.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a fun fishing set that is rudimentary and simplistic, this may be ideal for a 2 to 3-year-old.
