I had the tall plastic versions that are popular but wanted to see how these worked. The body of these is solid and the bottom pieces are plastic. awesome idea! it comes with two sets of the 4 sized bottom pieces, so you can really use what you need to on the drains. The solid body makes it easy to clean the hair out of. This also seems to sit lower than the other one I had. It's a surprise what these little thing stops from going down the drains.
