I bought this because my new Mac Book Pro does not have the SD card reader like my old one did. I bought this because I am an avid photographer and needed an easier way to upload my photos instead of relying on Bluetooth or the cord connected to my camera. I like this product so much that I ordered another one as a back up or to read my other cards at the same time! Great item!
