We live in rural Missouri and grow a large garden. These lids are a must this time of year and you cannot buy them here at our local stores. As soon as they come in, they are immediately sold out. I was really excited to be able to get these ones on the net and they came very quickly! They are not name brand but side by side with the regular name brand lids, these look and feel exactly alike! I am doing batches of canning soon and am thrilled the lids came in time!
Update: These lids are too thin, they buckle and don't seal. We did green beans today and imagine the hurt and upset of working hard all summer in our large garden and going through all the work to process the beans and THE LIDS DON'T SEAL AND BUCKLE. Yeah, so not happy right now I could cry!
