This mic will do everything you expect it to and more. First of all, it's plug and play. just insert the USB and you're good to go. The sensitivity is great. This is not some flimsy toy mic but a solid piece of equipment. It's heavy and feels sturdy. The stand holds the mic tightly and the holder can adjust to different angles. The adjustment is tight--the mic won't flop over or tip over. The stand also has rubberized feet so it won't slide or fall over.

Anyway, the mic is omnidirectional so you can place it in the center of the room if you have a group of people. It'll pic up from all directions. It does come with a foam windscreen although I presume most people wont' need it since you'll likely be using this indoors.
