these puppies are bright and super cool i really wish that they were battery operated so i can have free reign with my tree placement but still pretty cool. it comes with a remote which is awesome because i dont have to get up an unplug the tree. they have different things they can do from the remote as well. the flashing is too much for me . but others might like it. give it a go
