Fish Love It

I recently went fishing with my hubby on private property on a lake less travelled to.  So this may go a little off topic but  I finally have someone to share it with so here goes.  So we were fishing with everything.  Fished with plastic worms, jigs, minnows, and some liver.  Absolutely no hits on the line, oh did I say it was hot as hell out!  Okay well I remembered I had my shrimp bait and some crank bait.  My hubby went to get some night crawlers.  So I started with some crank bait, YES, got some hits.  Switched up and cast my shrimp bait, reeled in my first fish after hours.  My husband wanted to fish with the night crawlers so we started fishing with that all hits stopped again.  So the shrimp bait was a hit in the lake.  They are soft and must give off great movement and reflection in the water. Oh, and I forgot to tell my hubby we needed DEET, so we came back with more than 1 fish as well, lol.  Overall great bait to fish with.
