inflatable music instruments

I bought these to use as decorations for a kid's party this summer with a music theme. The set came with various colors of inflatable microphones and guitars. These items did have a very, very strong chemical odor. We let them sit opened in the garage for a few days to try to minimize the smell which helped slightly. I did not inflate them with my mouth but instead, I used a balloon pump to inflate them because of the strong offensive odor. I definitely suggest not breathing in those odors if you can avoid it. These are decent quality to use as decorations or party favors.
