Just a basic brush

My dog sheds constantly even for a short haired dog.  I am always finding his fur everywhere.  My vet recommended that I get him an undercoat brush as it will help with the shedding problem that he has throughout the year.  This brush was the right price and seemed to be one that would do the trick.  I was slightly disappointed that it was not one that got the undercoat of his fur.  It's a basic plastic bristle brush that you would use to just brush over the top coat to untangle.  It's a good thorough brush and I use it on him a lot.  But, it is not the brush I was hoping for.  So if you are in the market for a brush that actually gets the undercoat, this is not the brush for you.  For every other brushing need, this brush is perfect.  It handles nicely and as very sturdy as well.   The handle has a nice non-slip grip on it so I won't have any issues with it falling out of my hand.  I will continue to use it for his top coat, but not so much for the intended label of this brush.
