I had been looking at pet fountains for a while before buying this one. I just wasnt sure if it was going to be too loud or splash water everywhere. I was concerned about how much counter space this would take up and I truly had no idea if our cat would even entertain the thought of a water source other than the kitchen sink. This was definitely worth the money, I'm pleased to say.
When you first plug this in, it is ridiculously lou . My worst nightmare. You have to give it a full two minutes without giving in to the desire to unplug it. I promise you it will be worth it. It is SILENT! No bubbling or splashing at all. And my cat immediately started using it. So if you are on the fence about purchasing one, this is a good option.
