These light bulbs are so easy to use. Hubby put one of them in the lamp and when he turned the light switch off so the overhead lights were off and the room entirely dark, after just a second the light bulb turned on. The light was nice and bright. When he turned the overhead light back on, the light bulb went out. They are perfect to use in our home when we are traveling so there will be lights on at night.
