Right out the box, first thing you notice is the quality of the item. The rod isn't made of cheap plastic but it's an aluminum rod. A nice carry bag with a drawstring and an extra battery for the remote is also included!
When it comes to setting even the simplest things up, I'm horrible at it, even with directions. Surprisingly, I didn't have any issues setting up the tripod. Thanks to the helpful directions that were included. It can be used as a single stick or a tripod. The angle of the camera can be adjusted in either mode, which is different and neat! You can also choose to use the remote wirelessly or keep it connected to the rod!
I'll most likely be using this for my reviews and personal use with family. I definitely recommend this to anyone who takes pictures or videos often!
The quality is worth the price, if not more!
