My son wanted a headset for gaming (as did I so I couldn't hear him playing at full volume!). This one stood out to him as it lights up so instantly was a hit. I've given it a good testing though and the sound quality is great.
I'm quite impressed with the level of connectivity that it has - it's compatible with pretty much anything. The headset itself has both a 4 pin 3.5mm jack for devices that support headphones and mic in one jack but also comes with a splitter to convert this into the standard dual 3.5mm headphones and mic plugs. The cable has an inline volume adjustment wheel and a switch to turn the mic on/off. The lights on the side are powered by the USB connection and there is even an USB extension lead included as well.
The headset is lightweight and I can't see an issue with using this for extended periods of time. The only downside I have found is that it only just fits my own head (maybe I've got a big head?). It's not that the headphones are too small, it's the padding on the top of the headset that makes it sit quite high up so you need to push it down a bit to cover your ears. This will probably flatten down over time anyway. On maximum extension it does fit me ok and is certainly fine for my son, but if you have a larger head then this may not be ideal.
