I also love that the built in bulb runs a cool LED so that it never gets hot to the touch. This is another safety factor one should consider when you have children, especially young children in the home.
There are 3 levels of brightness in addition to off. I like this as somersomeI only need a low light while watching a movie, other times a bit brighter when I'm reading in bed.
