I love playing video games. I have been playing them for many years now. My first system was an NES that could only be in my parent’s bedroom, so they could see how much I played and could limit it if needed. I was ecstatic when I got my GameBoy (which I still have) back in the day. I didn’t even mind that it was not full color, as I had a way to play games in my room anytime I wanted to without my parents knowing.
I have a young daughter and when she gets old enough I want her to play classic games not the current dopamine filled games that populate smartphones currently. We have some friends and that is all their kids want to play, and if they play anything like a real video game they quit two minutes it cause it is ‘too hard to play’. 
I saw this device online and though this is perfect, my father can use it and not use my old handheld system until she gets older. If this breaks it is a LOT cheaper to replace then old school Gameboys.
Here are some great features of this handheld gaming system.
- It has 400 classic games. I have seen many games such as Super Mario Brothers, Bomberman, Ninja Turtles, and other classic games that I played back in the day, as well as someones I have never seen or they were only in overseas countries. This will keep anyone entertained for hours on end.
- This has two play support! You can play on the handheld as well the bundled in the controller. Perfect if you have more than one child.
- If you have AV support on your TV you can plug the system into it and play games on the big screen.
- The battery lasts up to six hours after a full charge, so it can last on long road trips.
I really like the construction of the device. I would prefer it if it was a tad heavier, but its current condition is nice. The screen has a nice resolution and has a great volume control on the device. The buttons are very reactive and feel nice when you are pressing them. I am disappointed that only Player 2 can use the controller, but it is not that big of a deal.
Overall, this is a wonderful idea and system for super cheap! This will last many many many hours of playtime over the years to come.
