Awesome little gadget!

I found the mandoline slicer incredibly easy to use. So far I have tried cucumbers zucchini. The cucumber I made into thin slices for a cucumber salad, and the zucchini I sliced into thin strips. Neither time did I have a single issue. I used my hand to slice until I got to the last three inches or so, and then I used the finger protector to get the last bits. Everything glided easily and the finished products were perfect. I love that it has a stand! My old slicer didn't have that, and it does make a difference. My old slicer also didn't have a dial to set the thickness and while I haven't really played with that yet, I can definitely see it coming in handy. The slicer was super easy to clean, too, especially if I did it right away.
