They are ok, but a little weak at the tip for using with outdoor grilling.

This set of tongs is not as strong as I would prefer, but is ok. I mean, the rubber tip is not stiff enough, so you have to make sure that you grab those steaks and porkchops with more than the tip. However, I do like this set (still gets the job done) and the (bonus?) silicone bottle with the brush tip its awesome for applying barbecue sauce!
