I had my doubts about this small device holding my phone in the car but when I tried it all I could think was wow this really works. It came with the clip to fit into my air vent and then for your phone it has a sticky magnet you can put on the back or it has a magnetic plate you can place between your phone and case. I used the one with the sticky tape and it works great.
