This kit consists of two 5M rolls of SMD 5050 RGB LEDs, a controller, a power supply, and a remote control. The LEDs are high-output multi-colored units, The controller has 2 output cables, so you can install the two light strips in either a parallel or continuous strip. The power supply converts house power to low voltage DC (I am assuming 12 volts DC) and connects to the light controller. The controller works in conjunction with the 44-button remote control to control light colors, intensity, and has dimming and color-changing modes as well. Everything connects together using plugs, a great improvement over other company products, which need to use bare wires and screws. Much easier to install. The strips are completely water-tight and have 3M type adhesive strips on the back for pressing the strips onto the mounting surface.
