I’ve always used basting brushes with wooden handles and nylon bristles until about a year ago when I bought a utensil set and there happened to be a silicone basting brush in the set. I used the silicone brush and I have never gone back to using any other type of basting brushes again.
I saw this set of four silicone brushes and I loved the bright colors but also really liked that it has two different sizes of brushes (10” and 8”). The brushes are made of 100% food grade BPA. I like that these brushes are much easier to clean than nylon/bristle brushes and they dry quicker and do not hold in bacteria.
