beach here we come

The size is great, even my tall husband will be able to use it. I love the idea of the blow up pillow but doesn’t have a stop valve, so it took a couple of tries to close the valve without losing all the air. The tabs to fill with sand so it doesn’t blow away is genius, when trying to fill the pockets with sand, it’s hard not to get sand on the blanket.  So I decided to do that on my own with no help from the kids.  The material is sturdy and comfortable so it can be used  on grass, sand, even pavement. Due to the type of material it is I would not say it is a blanket but more like a beach bed.  The top has a rougher feel to it, so its not the feel of a blanket and you would not cover up with it.  If feels more like laying on an air mattress.  One of the best features about this item is that it is easy to fold back up and put into the mesh pouch that was provided.  Often when you get something, its easy to take out, but not to put back in.  Overall its good, its not exactly sand-free for me after my first use, but the comfort level makes it a sure win on an outing!
