Great knee sleeve for sports, knee support and sore knees

The For-Knees Magnetic Knee compression sleeve is a great choice for the athlete, fitness or yoga enthusiast. Also, for those with chronic knee issues due to old injuries, arthritis or strains and sprains, this can help with knee recovery. However, it has limitations. It comes in two sizes, Medium, which fits most knees, and Small, which fits knees that are less than 13' when measured aroung the leg just above the knee joint.  So for those with really big legs, measuing over 17" around the leg just above the knee joint, it may be too tight.  Also, for those who are seriously overweight, the problem is in the weight. Being overweight puts tremendous pressure on the knee joint, which only weight loss can fix. The other issue is that for those who have serious knee problems, intense pain that doesn't go away, there is no substitute for professional evaluation and treatment.

Now the good news: It is made from natural cotton and latex yarn with good elasticity. No petroleum based fake fabrics.

It has 13 small but strong magnets placed at acupuncture points around the knee. That is because according to Chinese Traditional Medicine, magnets have healing properties.

It also has specially treated tourmaline, a semi precious mineral, which acts like a luminous dial of a watch. Only the tourmaline fiber stores and reflects back your body heat to warm the joint. Its far infrared rays are known for their healing properties as well. Unlike many of the knee sleeves sold on Amazon, this product is made with very high quality materials. So the price may be a bit higher than your typical $10 knee sleeve. That's because the materials are better and, frankly more expensive. Still at a very reasonable price compared with some well known brands.

All in all, this merits a respectable 4.2 rating on Amazon, but I would rate it more like 4.5 for the right person, described above.
