This is an awesome idea. The cord is strong has a 3 prong plug. Both USB ports work. Both plugs work. My only complaint (Totally my fault for not measuring!) is that the grommet the part that goes into the hole is too large for the three desk area's I wanted to use. The base is 3" around and the top is 3.5". I really didn't want to make the hole bigger on any of the desks.
Overall strong design and a great idea.
