I had regular sand paper but it's brittle and tears so easy. I got this and it holds up gr.at using wet or dry. Great for metal in particular and a variety of grits in this pack. 30 piece should last quite a while I think seeing how durable it is. It will also work on wood and plastic so it has a wide range of uses. Go ahead and get some for that project you're thinking about but haven't done it yet.
