This cordless hot glue gun has a built-in lithium rechargeable battery that you charge using the included AC charger plugged into the handle of the unit. It uses 7.3mm glue sticks (in the USA this is referred to as .26-.28 inch mini glue stick). I was concerned that I would not find metric glue where I live, but the big 'W' place carries high/low temp .28 inch hot glue sticks that work perfectly. The unit has two LED indicator lights to let you know charging and heating functions, along with battery level.
It comes complete with a box of hot glue sticks and a charger. I wish it would have come with some type of stand, but you can't have everything I guess.
