Brilliant

I needed a couple of extra torches for general use, I also have Ledlenser P7 which is a high quality torch. I was quite surprised that the difference in quality from a visual point of view is negligible. Both seem to be made from similar alloys. I am sure the Ledlenser will exceed the Letion in LED quality and light chip quality but at over 3 times the price it is hard to justify for general household use. The P7 is smaller in hand but I personally prefer the size and feel of the Letion. The Letion is just a little heavier but still feels nice and light in the hand. As regards brightness they do seem similar, which is a credit to the P7 and both have similar features. The Letion has an extra SOS/Flashing mode which is something I wanted. Both say they are water resistant and again I would suspect the P7 will be better sealed but neither are IP65 rated. One thing that may be useful if you are a single person walking at night is the Letion is just large enough for use as some extra personal protection in case of emergencies. Overall a very well priced torch that be ideal for general household and car use. I was pleased so I bought a second.
