This is a simple idea but they come in handy. They seem quite sturdy. I don't know how much weight they could hold but it would probably be quite a lot. I put all four in the car so I can hang my grand daughter's bags with snacks and electronics when we make longer trips. They also come in handy for shopping bags. Hanging my purse on a hook keeps it off the floor at my feet. I'm pleased with my purchase.
