Makes the most out of my power strip

This is a great item, I plugged it in to my power strip by my desk and instantly added 2 USB and voice control (over the smart plug) via Alexa. This really is a great way to make a power strip more useful, instantly I freed up 2 outlets by being able to plug things directly into the USB. The voice control thing is great I have 2 smart plugs, one for the light and one for the AC/fan. I love being able to turn them on or off remotely via app as well as voice, especially the AC as I can cool the room down before I get there. I can think of a ton of uses for smart plugs and from now on I'm going to make sure to get the ones with the extra USB ports! Since I already had one smart plug, setting this one up was a breeze. You do need to run an app on your phone to connect it to Alexa. However, I am not sure if you need to keep it on your phone once you connect it to Alexa. In any case, this is a useful product that I can recommend.
