You get 2 pair of tongs a 9 inch pair and a 12 inch pair of metal tongs with red silicone grips in the handle around the lock tab at 1 end and coating the gripping part of the tongs too. You push in the hanging loop to unlock the tongs and use them. Pull it out to lock.
