I honestly forgot about this item until I decided to see if there was anything new that I could review recently. The light took a while to ship out to me. I was sent two packages, the first was the remote which confused me quite a bit since the listing was for a light. I contacted support where I was explained that the remotes were sent seperate and the light is on the way. Ok, the second package was the light. In total I waited at least a month for these (hense forgetting about it). 

At first they worked alright. I was going to use them for a computer setup that I was doing in a closet and wanted some extra lighting. I should note that the first one was defective so I had to wait another few weeks before I got a replacement. The light didn't last. I tested it initally, put fresh batteries in, used the remote and verified that it worked, and they did, I was pleased with how bright the lights were and then turned the light off. 

When I turned it back on the light seemed a bit dimmer and then just shut off all together. I put in another fresh set of batteries and it worked again, so it seems despite that I had the lights off, it was still draining the batteries inside. 

In order to not drain the batteries you need to make a note to take the batteries out of the light, but that defeats the purpose of having the remote. Maybe the 2nd unit I got was also defective but 2 lights that didn't meet expatations was a huge miss for me.
