My daughter loves this shirt I probably wouldn't refer to it as a sweatshirt it is thin. But the style is in right now and girls are all about trying to be cool. It washed and dried in machine washer and dryer and no dyes running or fading no shrinking.hood has plenty of room in it so it's not too snug on ur head, it's super soft material not too much of a crop top still covers all it should
