Made of 4 layers of 70% organic bamboo and 30% natural cotton, this milestone blanket measures 47-inches square. To be used mainly as a photo-prop for each month in a baby’s first year, the blanket has the numbers of 1 to 12 and the word "months" on the left half with a blank area on the right half to place the child and a black banner of flowers around the edges. Being machine washable, the blanket arrives with a removable number frame in a gift box, ready for giving.

~ Why ~
Since our 4th grandchild was born recently, I know their parents like to keep track of her monthly growth, and this one does it nicely. I appreciate that it is made of hypo-allergenic, breathable, organic material that can be washed easily. Its gift box makes it an ideal baby shower.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not like that the blanket contains cotton so may shrink initially when washed, but it is soft and breathable. Others may think the flowers make it look more feminine than masculine for a boy infant.

I wish the numbers and artwork were in color instead of black on white.
