Sizing and fit are not as expected

I typically wear a size 36B bra and I ordered an XL size in this bralette. The fit was very small and the underneath breast area was gaping large without any elastic to hold it again the skin. There is no way that I would consider it a fit that would be appropriate for a sports bra or other supportive bra. It might be ok as a sleep bra but even then the construction is more like a t-shirt then a bra. The photo is quite different that how it really looks.
