This is a wonderful starter ukelele for folks wanting to learn how to play. It is easy to tune and portable so you can take it with you to family gatherings. It comes with a black carry case to keep it from getting scratched up and has a really nice sound. The listing on Amazon said that it has a matt varnished design with laser engraving and they did do a wonderful job making a lovely musical instrument to play and enjoy. One thing I didn't know that was mentioned in the listing is if you are left handed, retuning the strings from A-E-C-G to G-C-E-A will make it a left-handed ukulele. Good news for my left-handed grandson! Our family is musically inclined and this will get good use.
