Matches the collar perfectly

This puts out a very bright light. The LED bulb is located close to the handle and the light is channeled through a plastic strip down the leash, as shown in the photo. I have a few other light up leashes from other brands that I bought last winter. What I LOVE about this leash is that it is rechargable. I never have to worry about the battery dying while on a walk. I simply charge it during the day and it's ready to go for our night walks. This is such a great safety device. I thought it was perfect for our rural area becuase there aren't very many lights; you can see this from very far away at night. I found when visiting family over the holidays that it is even more important for safety in the city. There are so many lights and reflective things that a simple reflective vest or lead isn't seen very easily but a flashing leash shows up very well and catches the eye against all the background noise. 

This is a definite must for night time walking safety and the rechargable feature makes this a must-buy.
