This is a great little bedside lamp, I don't think it throws out enough light to do anything by. Comes with a little remote to change the colours and brightness and is really easy to use. The stand was easy to put together. The little cable that comes with it is very short but I had a longer one knocking around so it wasn't an issue. Overall very pleased
