The product is very simple, but easy to use. I like their use, because that corresponds to the way we measure things in American woodworking. I have seen other advertisements promoting them better, because they have a pull lever that locks the slider in place. I'm glad I didn't pay extra for this. I can take a profile measurement, pull it away from the object and shake it. Plastic parts will not slide. I am very happy to have this product.
